BlogsThe Wall Street Journal reports that Yahoo is in talks with Time Warner over a possible acquisition deal that would keep Yahoo out of the hands of Microsoft. Citing “people familiar with the matter,” the paper says the talks involve folding the perpetually struggling AOL unit into Yahoo to create a new search (aka advertising) giant, with Time Warner taking a minority stake. The News corp. owned paper also reports that News Corp. remains a possible suitor, but Time Warner is the hottest rumor at the moment
