JigJak is planning a “big marketing push” that will coincide with the release of 2.0. We will be releasing amateur videos on YouTube telling folks about JigJak’s features–what’s cool and great.
We’ve spent uncountable hours developing the online experience you see today, programming content, collecting info, designing pages and other systems, creating new stuff and lots and lots more. And we haven’t stopped there.
We’re always striving to acquire new means of presenting our ever expanding content to all our visitors.
Version 2.0 is packed with new features and is schedule to be release in the first week of February 2008.
Some of the New features are:
- A complete site re-design to offer a new look with more web 2.0 features. The new site design is more encouraging of user activity, granting additional opportunities to become a valued member within the community, and recognized as such. The navigation has been made simple enough that even our grandmothers can use it
- A powerful search engine that returns results based on keywords, user rating, popularity and tag, which will make searching for relevant content a breeze.
- Social Network: this section will allow members to have a personal album of pictures, videos from youTube, a list of friends, a public wall for messages(scraps) , create/belong to communities and much much more. Members will be able to easily make social connections with other individuals interested in just about any topic by adding them to their network.

We’re encouraging JigJak fans to tell the world about their favorite social site by publishing amateur videos. Create a video about why you like JigJak, upload it to the YouTube site and let us know. The video will then be reviewed and put on our Web site.
